This is a concept for rebuilding of a first-generation light Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) train which runs in the Czech (West Bohemia) and German (Sachsen) border area... but something similar could happen anywhere, also with a new train... the main goal is energy-independence for the public transport needs of regions and rural areas.
